As a web developer, you might work on multiple projects and websites. A typical project list can include work projects, a personal website or blog, and any open source projects that you contribute to or manage.

Each of these categories has a different audience and priorities—you probably want your personal website to be responsive and look good on every possible device, while your note-taking web app only needs to work on desktop browsers if you already have native apps for mobile devices.

To manage these priorities, we recommend using Projects. For each project, you can specify:

  • A set of devices and view modes
  • The URL to open when activating a project
  • Project groups
  • Preferred code editor
  • Bookmarks and reference URLs
  • To-dos and notes

To begin using Projects, start with Creating a project.
