Backup and Restore User Configuration
You can backup and restore your app configuration in Sizzy. There are two types of backups in the app: Automatic and Manual. Here's what each of them does.
Sizzy automatically backs up your configuration every 15 minutes so that you can revert to a previous config in case you mess up.
To restore from an automatic backup, click the hamburger menu on the top left of the window, and go to Settings -> Import config.
This will open the Backups and Import window where you'll see the list of automated backups. Click the Import icon to the right of the backup that you wish to restore.
This will open the Import Config dialog box where you can choose which settings to restore.
You can also export your current configuration manually. There are multiple reasons to do this:
- Backing up a known working config to an external drive or a file hosting service.
- Using an existing configuration on a different computer.
- Sharing your configuration with other users, for example, coworkers.
Click on the hamburger menu on the top left of the window, go to Settings -> Export config, and save the .json file.
Click the hamburger menu on the top left of the window, and go to Settings -> Import config.
In this dialog box, click on Import from File.
Pick the .json file you created in the previous section to restore the config.
